Raymond Ankobia is a member of the Advisory Board and Director of Cybersecurity and Data Protection for our team.

Raymond is an experienced cybersecurity, data protection and privacy expert with over 30+ years of working in diverse industries - including the Private sector, United Nations, and non-governmental Organisations.

Raymond is a visionary Cyber Security, Data Protection, Privacy, Compliance and Risk Management Professional with experience in creating security strategies and leading highly effective and successful Cyber Security transformation programmes. He has led diverse and high performing teams of Information Security professionals, using risk, and counter cyber intelligence-based approach, to proactively detect and monitor external and internal threats to protect the reputation, critical information assets, and mitigate potential data breaches.

His expertise spans across a broad spectrum of areas, including Security Risk Management, Security Architecture Design, Information Security Standards, Security Incident Management and Incident Response, Third Party Risk Management, Compliance with Data Protection and Privacy Laws & EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); Management of Outsourced Security Services, Project Management and ICT Service Delivery, AI Ethics & Governance.

Raymond holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing from Greenwich University, an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and earning a Master of Laws (LLM) Degree in Data Protection and Intellectual Property from the University of Law- undertaking specialist education in Cyberlaws, Data Protection and Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in Law, and Technoethics in Law. 

Additionally, Raymond is a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
